We’ve been serving Southbay cyclists for over fifty years.
Ted’s Manhattan Cycles has been a local landmark since Ted Ernst, U.S. Bicycling Hall of Famer, first opened the doors back in 1962. Our experience and passion for the sport has always set us apart. Our goal is to provide the Southbay with the best bicycle sales and service available. We have a broad selection of racing and recreational bicycles to choose from for every type of rider.
We are committed to our customers and our community. Ted’s Manhattan Cycles has been helping to promote cycling within the Southbay since we first opened. The Manhattan Beach Grand Prix was founded in 1962 by, ours truly, racing legend Ted Ernst. The MBGP draws top pro racers from around the country to the 2nd oldest one-day race in America. We are also the official home for the Southbay Wheelmen.
