Manhattan Beach Grand Prix
Ours truly, local racing legend Ted Ernst founded the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix back in 1962. Ted is still active in the racing community and oversees the community races. As the race has grown over the past 49 years, it has developed a reputation for providing high-quality competition that benefits both the community and the athlete. The MBGP provides racing for all levels of USCF racers as well as a wide range of community racers. The race is one of the longest running bike races in America and draws contestants from six continents. It is also one of the more technical courses on the USA Cycling National Race Calendar.
